Ron and Janet Borders and their two young children have just moved into their 'dream' home . . . an old, decaying lighthouse on the island of St. Helena, seven miles west of the massive Mackinac Bridge. For the next two years they will live on the island, alone, restoring and refurbishing the dilapidated building.
But something is very, very wrong. Strange things begin to happen . . . things that can't be explained. A face a the window. A bloody handprint.
Soon, it becomes more than apparent that the Borders family aren't the only inhabitants of the island . . . and now they realize that the forces they're up against are much stronger and more powerful than they could ever have imagined.
